Help us sponsor an
Old City Jerusalem Ambulance
in Karen's memory.
On October 29, American Friends of Magen David Adom lost a beloved colleague and friend, Karen Berger. She was an inspiration to all as she fought against illness with incredible positivity and drive. As we remember the wonderful person she was, we wish to honor her memory with an Old City Jerusalem Ambulance dedicated in her name.
The Old City Jerusalem Ambulance is a special all-terrain, 4x4 vehicle that's much smaller than a typical ambulance, allowing it to navigate the narrow streets of the Old City and even climb stairs. This unique vehicle ensures that even in the challenging conditions of the Old City, Israelis in need of emergency medical care get help as quickly as possible.
Sponsoring this lifesaving vehicle in Karen's name is a fitting tribute. She was deeply connected to Israel and Judaism. And whether she was raising funds for Magen David Adom in her role at AFMDA or helping members of her community, she could always be counted on to help those in need.
While nothing can fill the void left after Karen's passing, we hope that in some small way, dedicating this ambulance can continue her legacy of caring deeply about Israel and saving lives. Thank you for your support.
